As a club sport Columbus Rugby receives no tax dollars and depends on player dues and donations to keep playing. Without the generous donations of people like you, a great and unique opportunity for students would not exist.
There are several ways that you can give to the Columbus Rugby Football Club, however, no matter how much money is raised for club expenses if a student can not pay the club dues they will be unable to play. So please consider sponsoring a student athlete.
Athlete Scholorship
As a club sport, each student is responsible for her own and the team’s equipment. As the club is self-supporting, spreading all these costs to all the players could prevent some of them from being able to participate.
In an effort to lessen the financial burden to the players and their parents, the club is seeking athlete sponsor
The cost of a basic Athlete Sponsorship is $150.00. While this may not be a great expense for your business, it can certainly go a long way to help lower the cost of participation in a non-taxpayer supported sport.
